Churros with Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Ganache


  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 180grams dark chocolate
  • ¼ cup Früzo Raspberry
  • 1 cup cream
  • 25grams flour
  • Oil for frying


Step 1

  • In a bowl place chopped chocolate and cream
  • Microwave for 1 min on high
  • Stir to combine
  • Add raspberries and mix well
  • Put aside until churros are cooked

Step 2:

  • In a pot over a medium heat combine water, milk, sugar and butter
  • Bring to a boil
  • Once butter has melted, add flour and beat vigorously until mixture pulls away from sides of pot, forming a ball
  • Remove from stove and place in a bowl
  • Using an electric beater, beat mixture until slightly cooled
  • Add 1 egg at a time beating after each egg
  • Place mixture into a piping bag with a star nozzle
  • Pipe desired length of mixture into hot oil (use scissors to cut mixture)
  • Fry until crispy and golden brown
  • In a bowl mix together ½ cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Toss fried churros in sugar cinnamon mix
  • Serve immediately with ganache
